Our House Colours: A Legacy of Unity
At Jubilee Primary School, our house colours are more than just team identifiers—they are a vibrant reflection of our school's unique history and values.
Founded in 2001, Jubilee Primary was born from a vision of Christian unity, bringing together four distinct church traditions to create a school that celebrates faith, community and collaboration. Inspired by the global Jubilee 2000 movement and supported by Queensland Churches Together, our school stands as a living example of ecumenical partnership.
Each of our four houses honours a founding church and the leader who helped shape our journey:
🟡 Stenlake House – Named after Reverend Evan Stenlake of the Uniting Church, representing compassion and service.
🔴 Hefferan House – Honouring Father Gerry Hefferan of the Catholic Church, symbolising faith and tradition.
🔵 Smith House – Celebrating Father Gary Smith of the Anglican Church, reflecting wisdom and resilience.
🟢 Sadik House – Dedicated to Pastor Brian Sadik of the Apostolic Church, embodying spirit and strength.
These houses are not only a tribute to our founders but also a daily reminder to our students of the values we uphold—unity, respect and excellence.
