Library

Our library—known as the iCentre—is the heart of reading and research at Jubilee. It’s a vibrant space where students explore stories, develop literacy skills and foster a lifelong love of learning.

Our Library Program

  • Weekly Borrowing Sessions
Every class visits the library weekly to borrow books. Students bring their library bag on borrowing day to care for resources.

  • Literacy Pro & Lexile Program
We use Literacy Pro and Lexile to track reading progress and encourage students to set personal reading goals.

  • Book Fair & Reading Events
Students participate in our annual Book Fair, create wish lists and engage in themed reading activities like “Grandparents and Christmas in Australia” and author studies (e.g., Phil Kettle’s Too Cool and Get Real series).

  • Visual Arts Connections
Library learning often integrates art projects inspired by texts, helping students express ideas creatively.

Special Features

  • Access to new and classic texts across all year levels
