Our Vision, Mission & Values

School Vision

Jubilee Primary School is a welcoming ecumenical community that shapes, nurtures and celebrates the whole child. Through Faith, Learning and Unity, we empower our students to learn, excel and make a difference in their ever-changing world.

This vision is consistent with the Brisbane Catholic Education vision of a faith-filled learning community creating a better future, calling us to Teach, Challenge and Transform.

The Jubilee Logo

At Jubilee Primary School, the logo is often used in connection with the school’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and broader identity as a Christian ecumenical community. It emphasises the values that underpin Jubilee’s identity:

  • Faith, Learning & Unity: These are the pillars of the school’s motto and vision, guiding its commitment to inclusivity, cultural respect and holistic education.
  • The Cross: A symbol of Christ’s love for us, representing the centrality of faith and the school’s Christian foundation.
  • The Wattle and Gum Leaves: These native Australian plants reflect the school’s Acknowledgement of Country and celebration of Indigenous heritage. They are used in visual and ceremonial practices, including flags, clap sticks, and symbolic gestures during assemblies, reinforcing respect for First Nations culture.
  • The Bible: Signifies the importance of Scripture in guiding the school’s values, teaching and spiritual life. It represents wisdom, truth, and the foundation of Christian learning.
  • The Child Leaning on the Cross: Symbolises trust, safety and the nurturing environment Jubilee provides. It reflects the idea that children find strength and comfort in their faith and that the school is a place where they are supported spiritually, emotionally, and academically.
