I-Centre (Library)

Our vibrant I-Centre is a hub for reading, research and digital exploration. It provides students with access to a wide selection of books, learning resources and technology to support inquiry-based learning and literacy development.

STEM Learning

Students engage in hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematics activities in dedicated STEM spaces. These areas are designed to spark curiosity, problem-solving and innovation through real-world challenges and collaborative projects.

Music Program

Jubilee's music facilities support a dynamic curriculum that includes instrumental learning, vocal performance and ensemble opportunities. Students are encouraged to express themselves creatively and build confidence through music education.

Italian Language Study

Italian is taught as a specialist subject from Prep to Year 6, delivered by dedicated language teachers as part of the school’s commitment to a rich and diverse curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum.  Italian Day at Jubilee is a vibrant celebration that transforms the entire campus into a cultural playground—students explore language, traditions, and cuisine through dynamic activities across classrooms, outdoor spaces and the oval, making learning come alive beyond the walls.

Beyond the Campus

  • Excursion and camp programs aligned with curriculum goals and supported by trusted providers.
  • Swimming Lessons: Jubilee organizes swimming lessons at external pool facilities. Students who are not participating are arranged into alternate classes, ensuring all students are supervised and engaged during these off-campus activities.
  • University Partnerships: Jubilee collaborates with Griffith University to host preservice teachers for practical placements. This not only supports teacher development but also enriches student learning through fresh perspectives and innovative teaching strategies.

  • Highschool Partnerships: Jubilee Primary School students commonly transition to nearby Catholic and independent high schools such as Aquinas College, Assisi Catholic College, and other Gold Coast secondary schools, supported by middle years transition planning.

  • Speech and Drama, Instrumental Music, Ballet and Dance, Creative Art Lessons: These programs are often facilitated by external providers and take place outside regular classroom hours, contributing to students’ holistic development.
  • Community Support Initiatives: Jubilee Primary School actively participates in Gala Days, Catholic school sports events, district competitions and traditional ball games, often held off-campus at local sporting venues.

  • Pamper Packs: Jubilee also runs initiatives like Pamper Packs for families or staff going through difficult times (e.g., chemotherapy, grief). These are coordinated by staff and reflect the school’s commitment to wellbeing beyond academics.

  • Professional Development: Staff participate in off-site professional development days, supported by structured health and safety protocols. This ensures that learning and growth extend beyond the school grounds for both students and educators.
