Leadership at Jubilee is about service, responsibility, and living our school values. Every Year 6 student is given the opportunity to lead and contribute to our community in meaningful ways.
Our Leadership Model
Shared Leadership
All Year 6 students participate in leadership through active committees that guide school initiatives, events, and community projects. This model reflects our vision of stewardship and unity.
Leadership Badges
Students earn their leadership badges by completing a series of tasks that demonstrate positive leadership qualities. These tasks are acknowledged by staff across the school. Badges are presented at weekly assemblies in front of the whole school.
Service Opportunities
Students volunteer their time to assist teachers and support school activities. Requests are managed through a structured system to ensure supervision and responsibility.
Signature Events
Catholic School Leadership Day
Jubilee hosts an annual leadership day for Year 6 students from Gold Coast Catholic schools. The program includes a liturgy and activities focused on leadership and well-being, with guest speakers such as BCE leaders, community pastors, and inspirational figures. Themes have included “Let the Spirit Move” and “Strong in Faith, Together We Stand.”
Leadership Handover Ceremony
At the end of the year, students participate in a formal handover, celebrating their contributions and preparing for graduation.
Why Leadership Matters
Our program helps students develop confidence, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility. It prepares them to be role models within the school and active citizens beyond Jubilee.
