Camps

  • Year 5 Camp – Lake Ainsworth
    Outdoor education experience focusing on health, PE and team-building activities.
  • Year 6 Camp – Emu Gully
    Leadership and resilience program with activities linked to HASS, RE and HPE curriculum. Runs in Term 2.

Excursions

  • Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary – Science focus on grouping plants and animals.
  • Dreamworld – Science: Forces and motion.
  • Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre – HASS: Australian identity and significant places.
  • HOTA (Home of the Arts) – Indigenous arts and cultural appreciation.
  • Beenleigh Historical Village – History: life in the past.
  • Brisbane Excursion – Includes Spark lab (Science), St Stephen’s Cathedral (RE), Parliament House (Government), and Botanical Gardens (Science).
  • Seaworld – Science: Adaptation of animals.

  • World of Maths – Hands-on problem-solving activities.
  • Star lab – Astronomy and celestial objects.
  • UPP Leadership Program – Health and leadership skills.
  • Street Science – Experiments on heat transfer and states of matter.
  • Drama Workshops – Creative arts and performance skills.
  • Author Visits– Literacy enrichment.
